When I decided to bring Ava with me to Saskatchewan, there was quite a bit of fear in the decision. How would it work to have her in the van for almost 24 hours straight? How would she sleep during the nights in a new place? Would she have meltdowns that would register with the IAEA like she does at home?

Thankfully, with dozens of people praying for the trip backing us, Ava has performed amazingly. We were at the hospital for 7 hours today and she only had one big cry and that was a legit one. She slid off a chair and landed on her bum on the floor.

Three cheers for Ava and one more picture with Ava’s little guys and baby Barbies which she literally played with for hours.

For those of you wishing for an update on Grandma Dewey, all I can say is that every day is a journey and a struggle yet an opportunity to share with her how much we appreciate her.
