Goodbye Mojo

MOJO Sports Radio 730 in Vancouver has left the building. When Corus lost the contract to be the radio broadcaster of the Canucks, the writing was on the wall.
Fourteen lost their jobs including Price, McKeechie and the Moj, Bob Marjanovich.
It looks like I’ll be listening to The TEAM 1040 on the way to work from now on. It was always my second choice.
There wasn’t enough of an audience in Vancouver for two sports only stations in Vancouver. I was surprised when it started up to compete a few years ago.
So goodbye Mojo. It was nice listening to you as I drove into work.
Oh, I almost forgot, it’s being replaced by continuous traffic reports.

Bummer. I think I actually listened to that station a few times. How do you think I learned the name Casey Printers?

Did you know Casey was signed by Kansas City?
He’s a great QB. Agent is a bit of a clown though.

Well he got signed with the KC Chiefs, so…who knows?

I know Rob… I know.

I didn’t until I looked him up to make sure I had his name spelled right! ;-)
