Julie had her ultrasound yesterday at what we thought was 18 weeks. Surprise, twins!
Just kidding, the surprise is that the baby is younger than we thought. What used to be a due date of August 17 (2 days from my birthday) has been moved to September 5 (three days from my brothers birthday.)
The good thing about this is the timing works much better. It will allow Julie three more weeks to get her hours in so that she can get maternity (EI) payments and it will also allow her to attend staff conference with me in Colorado.
I’ve put the ultrasound pictures up all in the same file. If you want to print it out the original file is up there for better resolution.

Maybe Julie and I can have a race then. Not much chance of me “winning” and beating her to the delivery room, but hey… we could still race. :) -de
Where’s the baby? I don’t know how to read ultrasounds.
The baby is in the middle on all four pictures. Look for a skull and a spine.
